About
My primary interests are in sports, new media, and cultural studies. I'm currently a PhD student in the American studies department at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. My dissertation will examine the sport of mixed martial arts and its relationship with contemporary popular media such as video games, television, and social networking sites.
